Trials and Tribulations

Storms, heavy wind and endless rain interspersed w/ 2 or 3 hours of sunshine. It's starting to get old. My new shop pavilion is finished but now there are roofers and insurance guys to deal with. Last week a storm ripped off a hunk of roof and knocked down some hefty tree limbs. No one was hurt and it can and is all being fixed, but it sure is a drag. My neighbor asked me if I had read the Book of Job- funny huh?
Oh well- just a little over 2 weeks until the Chicago Pipe Show. I'm sure I can hold out until then ... if the next round of storms (later today) don't bring a new catastrophe : ( -T

Two Cousins Furniture?

Mark and I have been making some pretty funky furniture for the last couple of months. We took a bunch of it to the Crosstie Jazz and Arts Festival in Cleveland Mississippi last Saturday. We had a good time and were very pleased with the reception we got. Hopefully we will get a website going soon that will be devoted to our new venture. Here's a few photos from the festival. -T

Lobnik Pipes for Chicago

A couple of days ago Gregor was kind enough to send a photo update on the pipes he is bringing to Chicago. I don't usually wish I were rich. Wealth has never been a goal of mine ... except every April, about a month before the Chicago Pipe Show. I could use one of those multi-million dollar executive bonuses about now.
Gregor's pipes just get better and better. I am looking forward to seeing these, but dreading having to choose just one. -T

I have a roof, now I'm just waiting for the electrician. Maybe soon I can leave Limboland and get back to work. -T
