Clairemont Hotel Pipe Rack

I'm thinking, daydreaming really, about a more gracious time. 1924 maybe, when visiting a city could be a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. Imagine a luxurious inviting hotel suite that not only provides coffee and tea in silver decanters, lovely soft cotton sheets and a down comforter but also on the desk next to the window sits an empty pipe rack. The rack is ready to provide an elegant temporary home for your most precious friends. I might travel more if I could stay in a hotel like this. -T

1710 Breedlove Ave.

Here's the latest pipe rack. It was commissioned by a customer who had seen The Mr. Gray rack on the website. The Mr. Gray is already sold and the customer asked if something similar could be made. Hey! No problem. It's always fun to rework an old design and the Mr. Gray is one of the oldest. We've come up with some better ways of doing things since then.
The name of this one comes from a street that runs through the north Memphis neighborhood where most of my family  lived when I was a child. Mr. Gray (my Uncle Bob) lived on this street.

In The Beginning

I'll start this by saying I'm too old. Technology is not my friend. But on the other hand - Everyone is doing it. So w/ that in mind, I'll give it a shot. My intention for this blog is to give nearly instant updates for our website
( twocousinspiperacks.com ). Let anyone who is interested see what we're up to. Maybe get a little feedback on design and better understand the needs of our customers. And to have fun. That's really the main goal of our company ... enterprise ... venture ... silly vanity. Anyway, I'll give it a go and we'll see what happens.  T
